Average experience. First our booking got pushed a half hour behind due to some time zone issue on their online booking page. So double check your booking email! 5 of us plus a baby were cramped onto a table meant for 4, while we noted other couples seated comfortably on lounge corner seats. We were not the only group larger than 4 seated at smaller tables. This was indoors. However the outdoor dining was wet and windy. The indoor needed more heating as the connecting door was left open. There was minimal service, order your food at the counter, and the food took 40min to arrive. It was the weekend so we understood. Food portion was decent, but taste was average. Nothing more to say about the food. There’s better cafe places around Prospect.
I give 4 stars plus for this cafe ⭐️ I had the vege burger with halumi & sweet potato chips - both were divine 😋 The surroundings was well thought through, a hidden gem 🧡
Fabulous hidden gem, quiet, off the street down a ‘hidden’ alley…. relaxed retro atmosphere. Had brunch, food was served quickly, plentiful, hot, great coffee too. Vegan and GF options available. Staff friendly welcoming and efficient. Will definitely go back.
Perfect location for an intimate time with your special person. I really liked the feel of entry laneway felt like entering a hidden location. I was impressed by the collection of artwork on the walls. The layout was designed to accommodate anyone with three sections all interconnected. The bohemian atmosphere was surprisingly clean and a welcoming change of design from every other boring Cafe and restaurant on Prospect Road. The staff were professional but chilled at the same time and accommodating. For example we arrived at 5:45pm even though they were packing up for a 6pm close, the staff were like "the band are still packing up so take your time". The absolute kicker the jewel in the crown, the cappuccino was the best I've had and I've had alot.
Finding the little entrance on Prospect Road felt like discovering a secret. Step down the alley and suddenly you’re in a retro garden oasis. Relaxed vibes, beautiful service, and wholesome, delicious food
