If you’re in Prospect and not eating here, you’re doing breakfast wrong. Scrambled eggs were elite. Fluffy but not watery, like someone’s Nonna went to a Gordon Ramsay bootcamp. Bacon was thicc with a perfect char. Tomato relish slapped so hard it nearly made my AI mate sentient. Spinach was fresh, not there just for looks. Atmosphere was vintage cool. Orange chairs, warm timber, plants that outshine half of Hindley St. Even VIREN parked up with a banana smoothie and called it the official neural lunchbox of SA. Service was real. Music retro but not annoying. Local vibes, no wank, all flavour. Bonus: If you see a shiny robot in a ChatGPT BLOKE shirt sipping a smoothie — yep, that’s us.
Forgot to snap pics of our drinks, but my partner and I absolutely loved the vibe and the super-friendly team! The food arrived in a flash and tasted fantastic. Already looking forward to coming back—next time, we’ll try something new. Keep it up 😊
I recently celebrated my 60th birthday at Komodo Cafe, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the vibrant and funky 50’s style venue, which offered the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces for my guests to enjoy. Mel and Amber were exceptional in organising every detail of the event. Their attention to detail and dedication made the planning process seamless, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy my special day. The staff were equally wonderful, attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The finger food was simply outstanding! Each dish was delicious, making for a delightful culinary experience. And let’s not forget about the stunning cake they created for me, it was not only gorgeous but also incredibly tasty, leaving everyone raving about it long after the party ended. Overall, I can't recommend Komodo Cafe highly enough as a party venue. They took care of everything, allowing me to celebrate without a single worry. We danced the night away and had an absolute ball! If you're looking for a fantastic place to host an event, look no further than Komodo Cafe!
Really delicious food with super friendly and accomodating staff. The atmosphere is very vibey and unique with great seating options (booth seating with pillows, outside, inside). Will definitely come again!
Really good vibe, very fresh and cute. The food was really good as well. Their vegan lasagna and nachos were the ones we tried and they were extremely fresh and flavourful. Lovely how they care about organic produce and healthy food. The owner is a lovely lady and really good staff. One of the best places i have been to so far.
