I’ve come here a couple of times hoping each time it’s different, it’s not. Every time I’ve gone in the employees literally follow you around the store and ask you over and over if they can help you somehow. I get that that’s their job, but it’s literally so bad that every time I turn around, every 30 seconds one of the three employees rotate out asking if I can be helped. To be honest, it seems like they’re trying to prevent theft, and I get that, but I literally walk in with a lanyard and my phone in my hand every single time. Today my shorts didn’t even have pockets, and I held the purchase in my hand, holding it at shoulder level and that still was not enough for them to leave me alone after I told them at least half a dozen times no, I did not want their help. They continued to do so, it got so obnoxious to the point where I was so frustrated with them not taking no for an answer that I just bought my single item and got out of there. Let’s normalize letting shoppers peacefully browse the aisles and taking their no as the answer period. Let’s normalize letting shoppers just enjoy the experience instead of the employees shoving themselves up the customer‘s butt every 30 seconds. I clearly had nothing to hide and nowhere to hide it. There’s security cameras. There was no reason for them to follow me around and rotate out every three girls over and over basically harassing the me and other shoppers. It makes people not want to go back at all. It makes the locked up makeup stores seem not so bad and that’s just sad. Do better, Sally’s. Let people just enjoy browsing, you might be surprised how much more stuff relaxed shoppers will buy when there isn’t a new employee standing breathing down their back the whole time. I came in wanting to get a few things but within 5 minutes I was asked at least 6-7 times if I could be helped. No means NO.
