I did not have a good experience here. A few people walked in just before I did and were greeted, but the second I walked in the greeter turned away until the next person came in. I figured maybe they were busy, but that’s how my whole time there went. There were associates everywhere and not one of them went out of their way to even ask if I needed help. There were two employees specifically that every time I was near them, they’d give me a dirty look and it made me so uncomfortable. One of them was a very tall guy and the other was around my height (I’m 6’1) maybe a little shorter, was wearing a long black skirt and had their hair pulled back in a bun. The only person that talked to me in the whole store was the Huda Beauty vendor, who gave me a couple samples of the foundations. Even walking out of the store I was ignored.
I wanted to come and give a shout out to Natalee (I hope I spelled her name right!). She did my full face makeup yesterday for my engagement party and I have never received so many compliments in my life! She did such an amazing job and hid all my insecurities! Plus, she was able to recommend me amazing products and I left with a new foundation, concealer, lip liner, blush, lip oil, and setting spray! I absolutely recommend her because she genuinely is so talented!
I really don’t appreciate someone not addressing/ helping me ( felt racist or she’s insecure ) straight thin long black hair, nose ring on left side , lighter skin,) 11/3 around 3:30 pm. I come in often and I’ve never seen her before. I was looking at fragrances and she stepped directly in front of me, she could have said that excuse me! Clearly she doesn’t have manners. She then brushes past me a few minutes later aggressively, and proceeds to ask someone near me if they needed help but not once did she ask me! She wasn’t busy at all and there were maybe 3 people in her general area. So either she’s very slow and can’t keep up or racist or possibly I offended her some how and she felt insecure. If you’re in the business of customer service then do just that! Your job and HELP not profile and be rude! Maybe you need more time to mature 🤷🏻♀️
I wanted to wait a little and try out my new product before reviewing, but Skylar was such a big help when I went in! Sarah got me situated with Skylar for my very first plumping lip gloss (Fenty Beauty- Heat) and it’s exactly what she said it would do. It’s a nice medium “heat” for my first try and has been surprisingly reviving my scarred lips; she knows her products. All the other girls were great too! Everyone was nice, friendly, and made sure I was situated while I killed my time there. Worth having to type a review.
