I had such a great experience at Sephora thanks to Nikah. I’ll be honest — I was a little intimidated to walk in and ask for help. Sephora tends to market toward a younger crowd, and as a 51-year-old woman, it doesn’t always feel like it’s speaking to me. But Nikah completely changed that. I also went in with intention — and I’d recommend other women do the same. I told her I wanted to focus on everyday, wearable makeup. We mostly worked on base items this visit — skin, tone, texture, the things that matter most. Next time? We’re diving into eyes. Maybe even lashes. (Yes, I said lashes. Growth era. 😄) We built a simple, polished everyday look using Laura Mercier, Saie, Thomas Roth, Sephora Collection, Too Faced, and Anastasia. It felt age-appropriate, modern, and effortless — not overdone. What surprised me most? I think Nikah genuinely enjoyed helping a more “mature” client. It made me realize Sephora may be missing a big opportunity with the 50+ market. We may not be the target demographic in the ads — but we are absolutely buyers. Beyond makeup, our conversation was refreshing and fun. It didn’t feel transactional. It felt human. Pricing-wise — it is what it is. Nothing is inexpensive anymore. I’ll definitely will be using the loyalty program and grabbing their fun sets here and there. If you’re 50+ and hesitant to walk in — do it. Go in with intention. Ask for help. I had an amazing experience at Sephora thanks to Nikah. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the products. Nikah took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and made thoughtful recommendations that fit my skin type and needs perfectly. She never made me feel rushed and genuinely cared about helping me find the right products. Customer service like hers makes such a difference, and I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Nikah again!

Today 09/28 at Sephora (3699 W Shaw Ave Fresno, CA 93711) around 12:06pm I was purchasing an item. When some ladies were testing perfumes, which of course is normal, nothing bad. My mom was sneezing as she is very allergic, she knows too that when you go to Sephora there is scents everywhere. The Indian lady at checkout out hand gestured and said my mom can leave Sephora/Kohl’s, very ignorantly. I replied don’t worry we will. As I walked away she yelled minutes later miserably, to have a good day. She was vey rude and seemed annoyed prior to even checking me out. Too bad she’s stuck in retail with her stuck up nose and attitude. The Asian lady with pink eyeshadow was the sweetest, making sure everyone was ok or if they need help.
I went to this store and fashion fair today and the girl working was so sweet. They didn't have a brand I was looking for which is totally understandable! But when I told her I was going to fashion fair to look she also gave me some recommendations on what to look for. Thank you so much, the store was also pretty packed but she was nothing but wonderful!!
